After arriving in Tel Aviv. we will clear customs and immigration for· malities and board our modern, air-conditioned, luxury motor coach. Tel Aviv is home to one of the oldest harbors in the world and is built on the ancient port of Jaffa. It is here that Peter had his rooftop vision. Overnight in Tel Aviv

As we depart Tel Aviv enroute to Tiberias, we will have a beautiful stop along the way at Caesarea by the Sea. (Acts 10&25) Our next stop is Mount Carmel, remembered as the place where Elijah called down fire from Heaven upon the prophets of Baal. (2 Kings 1:12) From there, we head to Megiddo, an ancient city of King Solomon and the site of the future battle of Armageddon (I Kings 9:15; Rev. 16:16). Our day will conclude at Nazareth, the city where Jesus would have grown up as a child (Luke 1 & 2).

We will start this morning with a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. We will arrive at a place that Christ knew well – Capernaum. In Capernaum are the remains of what is believed to be Peter’s House. This is the region where Christ spent much of His early ministry (Mat· thew 4:13). Next, we will see Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus and His disciples went for peace and quiet (Mark 8:27). We will then proceed to Tel Dan. the northernmost city of ancient Israel (Judges 18:29). On our return to the hotel, we will pass through the Golan Heights. Our touring day will end at the Jordan River for an evening Baptismal Service,

After breakfast and checkout, we head out to the beautiful Crusader fortress of Bel Voir and its breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley. We will also tour the ruins of Beth Shean – a fascinating city that is enjoy· able to explore. Arriving around sunset at Mt. Scopus, we will see the beautiful city of Jerusalem.

This morning we will see the heart of Jerusalem. As we enter the Old City walls, we come upon the Western Wall (Wailing Wall} of Herod’s Temple. Beyond that lies the 35-acre Temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel 24:18-25). On this site stands the magnificent Dome of the Rock (the third holiest site in all of Islam). Next, we tour the Old City streets and see the ancient ruins of the Cardo. We will have a fascinating time of discovery in the Rabbinical Tunnel Tour – where we will be underground looking at the actual foundation stones of the Temple Mount. We will also see the site of the Pool of Bethesda (John 5).

After breakfast this morning, we will depart for Bethlehem. The Church of the Nativity is sure to be a highlight as we remember the birth of our Saviour. Then we will visit Ein·Gedi, the lush oasis in the desert, where David hid from King Saul (I Samuel 24:1-6).

This morning our first stop is Masada. We will take a new, large cable car up for a visit to one of King Herod’s palaces, which later became a Jewish landmark. Then it’s on to an afternoon of fun and relaxation at the Hod Resort near the Dead Sea. Enjoy an afternoon of swimming or the use of the famous spas.

Today is the spiritual highlight of the trip as we trace the final days of our Saviour’s ministry. Our first stop is the Upper Room, a place simi· lar to the room of the Last Supper (Mark 14:22-25). As we trace the steps of the last hours of our Saviour, first, we will see Gethsemane. As you kneel next to the olive trees, you can only imagine what Christ must have endured. Our next stop is the house of Caiaphas, the High Priest, where Jesus was held during His trial. As we continue, we will see Calvary and the Place of the Skull. At our final stop, the Garden Tomb, there will be a special time of communion and reflection as we pray at the place where our Savior died and rose again. We will con­clude our final day with our farewell dinner.

This morning, we will depart from Tel Aviv for our return flight to the USA. Our hearts will soar as we remember the many sites we visited as we walked in the footsteps of Jesus.
